Attending green awards shows is always fun. I get to meet a lot of pretty interesting people. In November I attended the Global Green Sustainable Design Awards in New York and had a chance to talk to Peter Glatzer and Adrian Grenier of SHFT.com with my friends at Inhabitat.com. These two make a pretty inspiring pair and the work they are doing shows their dedication to green.

Peak Organic Brewing Company is dedicated to the best ingredients. Perhaps that’s why their beer is so absolutely delicious.

Join the Peak team in this video that I shot for them at Climbing Bines Hop Farm in New York State and Elm Hill Farm in Maine (footage courtesy of Chris Furnari) where the crew hand picked hops for the new Local Series Pale Ale. Who knew hop farms could be so fun?

Every once in awhile I get to meet a truly impressive person. Henrik Fisker definitely falls into that category. He’s a luxury vehicle designing legend — he’s had a hand in designing quite a few Bond cars — and has decided to try his luck at the electric vehicle world. His first vehicle out of Fisker Automotive is the Karma.

It is the essence of beauty with an electric motor (and an extended range gas generator). It will make you swoon.

Wow. The Solar Decathlon. What an incredible event and an incredible experience for me, personally. It was a wonder to walk through the homes and get a chance to talk to the motivated young people who built them.

I had a blast making this video about section two of the High Line park in New York City. The High Line is an elevated train track that the city has refurbished and turned into an urban greenway in the sky. It is an impressive tribute to the industrial past of the city and an incredible example of the future of design.

I just shot this video at Bloomingdales in SOHO during the ECOLUX Pop-Up Shop. Bloomingdales was showcasing some of the best sustainable designers and we had a chance to talk to some of them about what the event meant for the future of “green fashion”.

If you look closely you can also see a video playing in the Pop-Up Shop itself. I edited that video as well! A video within a video…meta.

This video is from last year’s BKLYN Designs furniture show in DUMBO. Inhabitat was happy to be one of the media sponsors of the show and we gave out a few awards to our favorite designers.

There were a lot of hard decisions made but in the end we awarded some really talented furniture makers. Watch our docu-video about the process!

Inhabitat asked me to join them at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit to check out the coolest new low-emission vehicles. Here’s the video that resulted from that amazing trip!

Voila! Another video from Fashion Week in New York City. This one comes from the GreenShows, complete with a host of sustainable designers that each have a different view of the world of fashion.

Fashion Week in New York is always a whirlwind for me — running from green show to green show. This year I was lucky enough to be in the pit at the EDUN runway show and this video was the result. As is the trend with my fashion videos, it was featured on Ecouterre.
