about me

As a video journalist, writer and new media gal I am lucky to have the chance to explore the new frontier of information. I have five years of experience working in web media projects small and large. I graduated from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University with a degree in Television and Documentary Production. I was the Video Producer at Sprig.com, a green site owned by the Washington Post.Newsweek Interactive (WPNI) from 2007 to 2009. In February of 2009, I started work as a freelance video journalist in New York City. I am now a New York Editor and Video Producer for Inhabitat -- the largest green design blog on the web. I'm available for freelance work, if you have an idea, I have a camera!

I just shot this video at Bloomingdales in SOHO during the ECOLUX Pop-Up Shop. Bloomingdales was showcasing some of the best sustainable designers and we had a chance to talk to some of them about what the event meant for the future of “green fashion”.

The Green Shows is run by a group of fantastic people. This was their second season running and the week of shows was impeccable. I did this video for Ecouterre and was lucky enough to sit at the end of the runway for every designer. As always Ekovaruhuset was my fav. But props to all the lines that walked.
