about me

As a video journalist, writer and new media gal I am lucky to have the chance to explore the new frontier of information. I have five years of experience working in web media projects small and large. I graduated from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University with a degree in Television and Documentary Production. I was the Video Producer at Sprig.com, a green site owned by the Washington Post.Newsweek Interactive (WPNI) from 2007 to 2009. In February of 2009, I started work as a freelance video journalist in New York City. I am now a New York Editor and Video Producer for Inhabitat -- the largest green design blog on the web. I'm available for freelance work, if you have an idea, I have a camera!

This video is from last year’s BKLYN Designs furniture show in DUMBO. Inhabitat was happy to be one of the media sponsors of the show and we gave out a few awards to our favorite designers.

There were a lot of hard decisions made but in the end we awarded some really talented furniture makers. Watch our docu-video about the process!

I just finished updating my reel and posted it yesterday. It’s always fun to go back over the videos I’ve made. Sometimes I forget how fun some of the shoots were and when I see them again I get to relive a little bit of the experience. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
